And so, the Wedding Season is well and truly upon us! Spring is here in full bloom, excited and happy inquiries are flooding in from couples recently engaged and the carefully prepared and highly anticipated days for wedding and commitment ceremonies for this year are unfolding like petals unto the crisp, clean air.

At this point I have to stop and smell the roses. So much planning and thought goes into days like today. The wedding date. The wedding venue. The words to be exchanged.

Weddings are but one spoke in this wheel, this circle we call life. No matter who I am or where I am, or who you are and where you are, each spoke is significant.

To be a part of this evolutionary process – of life and love and death and rebirth – celebrating rites of passage with each changing season, is a gift. 

It is never to be taken for granted.

I hope to walk away from yet another successful ceremony having learnt all that I possibly can. Having treasured all that I have learnt.
