When Ash and I got engaged we said we wanted our wedding day -ceremony and reception to be us. We wanted it to be personal and fun. We were lucky enough to find Joanne Armstrong to be our celebrant. She really made us reflect on our personalities and having those shine through the ceremony. She encouraged us to be ourselves and remember it was really about us, we wrote our own vows and honestly that is my favourite part of our wedding, it took a little time but Joanne walked us through it helped me really say what was in my heart.

She made the happiest and best day of our lives so easy, she relaxed us, helped us centre and refocus with all the emotion and people around us. Our families and friends kept saying how amazing is Jo she was so wonderful, funny and creative through the ceremony. They made a point of telling us over and over it was the best ceremony’s and celebrant they had experienced.

When Jo asked us for all of the information about us we were a bit apprehensive and unsure, however we trusted the process and it was amazing to really tell our journey and share our special memories and moments with our friends and family. The day was exactly what we wanted a fun, intimate, relaxed and different day. Joanne really was central to helping us achieve this she also made it clear that she was on the journey with Ash and I through our engagement while planning the wedding sharing moments of excitement when my dress arrived when Ash picked his suit, when family was arriving from the uk and of course coaching us with our vows and really there to be a huge support. She played a huge personal part in our beginning and we are so thankful and blessed to have had her by our sides!
